Changelog

1.3.6

Latest

A fix for videos that were drawn with the wrong aspect ratio.

Fixed

  • Videos stretched to the wrong shape for a moment when switching between the feed card and fullscreen.
  • A card could keep the previous clip's crop or fit after scrolling or swiping to a new one.

1.3.5

Visual refresh, watch history, more themes and layout options, plus a batch of scrolling and playback fixes.

New

  • Watch history. Everything you view is saved locally and listed on a new History page.
  • Search history. Recent searches are remembered, and newly added tags move to the front of the list.
  • More themes. System, Light, Dark, AMOLED, Midnight, Sunset and Forest.
  • Layout options. Grid and staggered grid, with a 2, 3 or 4 column setting.
  • Auto-scroll. The feed moves to the next video when the current one ends.
  • Video quality. The Prefer HD toggle is now a three-way SD / HD / Auto setting.
  • Default feed. Pick which feed the app opens on.
  • Randomize favourites. Optional shuffle instead of a fixed order, under the sort order button.
  • Export my data. Writes your history, settings and lists to a JSON file from Settings.

Improved

  • UI pass across the app: new typography, rounded shapes, tidier profile and niche stat rows, better empty and error states.
  • Play/pause is back next to the progress bar.
  • Smoother scrolling: fewer recompositions, a shared image loader and better list prefetching.
  • Excluded tag and creator lists scroll properly now.
  • Avatars have placeholder and error states instead of blank gaps.

Fixed

  • Video drawing outside its container.
  • Odd tap behaviour on feed cards, and the profile pill sitting too high in fullscreen.
  • Explore page, and a loading spinner that could get stuck.
  • A broken link that blocked downloads of the newest version.
  • Favourites works again.
